Logo Guidelines
One of the benefits of being a
LOC Certified Manager is the distinction of having the
LOC Certified logo on your business card.
LOC Global has established the following guidelines to set forth the proper use
of the LOC Certified Manager Logos (the “Logos”). It is important that LOC
Certified Consultant adhere to these guidelines because the strength and
effectiveness of the Logos are derived through their appropriate and consistent
use. Any deviation from these guidelines is strictly prohibited and cause for
revocation of the Logo(s) license(s) and possible termination of the
certification status with LOC Global.
Following is a list of
existing Logos:
The LOC Certification Logos
The current level
of LOC Certification determines the text written on the
certification Logo.
The LOC Certified
Manager Logo consists of the Manager Certification Seal
with stacked text to the right of the seal, indicating the
certification type.
The relative
positioning and proportions of the LOC Global Manager
Certification Seal and the stacked text must always remain
constant. Only approved artwork, downloaded from LOC
Global as outlined in this document,
may be used. The LOC Certified Manager Logos are specially
designed and must never be redrawn, recreated, or altered in any
way
LOC Certified
Managers may use their own corporate logos in conjunction
with the LOC Certified Manager Logo only as described in this
document.
Sizing and Placement Requirements for the LOC Certified
Manager Logo
The LOC Certified
Manager Logo must not be used in an unapproved form. When
used consistently across all appropriate materials, the LOC
Certified Manager Logo allows LOC Certified Managers to
quickly communicate the nature of their relationship with LOC
Global and to distinguish themselves from other managers.
The following is a list
of requirements for sizing and placement of any LOC Certified
Manager Logo.

The LOC Certified
Manager Logo cannot be larger or more prominent than the
LOC Certified Manager’s name, company
name, trademark, logo, or trade name.

The minimum size at
which the LOC Certified Manager Logo may appear is 7/16”
(12 mm) in height.

To ensure its
visibility and integrity, the LOC Certified Manager Logo
area must be clear of other elements such as type, images, or
other graphic elements. In addition, the logo cannot be placed
on an angle.

The clear space
surrounding all sides of the LOC Certified Manager Logo
must be equal. When placed on a business card the logo should be
equidistant from the bottom and the sides of the card it borders

LOC Certified
Managers may not combine the LOC Certified Manager
Logo with any other feature including, but not limited to, other
logos, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design
features, or symbols.

The LOC Certified
Manager Logo may not be used as a design feature on a
product, product packaging, documentation, collateral, a Web
site, or advertising of any type.

The LOC Certified
Manager Logo is specifically designed and must not be redrawn,
recreated, or altered in any way—including, but not limited to size,
color, proportions or animation.
LOC Global reserves the
right to determine—at its sole discretion—unfair uses or misuses
of its trademarks or other violations of applicable law and will
seek damages to the full extent the law allows of those companies
who fail to adhere to the guidelines as stated herein.
Color Treatments for LOC Certified Manager
Logos
The consistent and
correct use of colors is essential to building and maintaining a
strong global identity. The color requirements for LOC Certified
Manager Logos are as follows:
Using the LOC Certified Manager Logos
Use of the LOC Certified
Manager Logos must adhere to the guidelines set in this
document.
The following is a list
of requirements LOC Certified Managers must adhere to when
using the Logos.

Only LOC Global and
its designee(s) have the authority to supply LOC Certified
Managers with access to electronic artwork of the Logos.
This artwork may not be altered in any way.

LOC Certified
Managers must meet all applicable requirements in
the LOC Certified Manager program and sign the LOC
Certified Manager Program Candidate Agreement before using
the Logos.

LOC Certified
Managers may use the appropriate Logos only on printed
business cards. Only one LOC Certified Manager logo per
business card may be used, and LOC Certified Manager logos
may not be displayed in any format other than a standard
business card within the print guidelines stated herein.

The LOC Certified
Manager Logo may be used as a symbol that an individual has
completed the requirements for LOC Certification. Its use may not imply that LOC Global in any way
sponsors, endorses, warrants, or guarantees the individual,
or his/her services.

LOC Certified
Managers may not display the Logos on packaging; collateral
materials; documentation; print, broadcast, and Web advertising;
or a Web site in a manner that suggests their products or
services are LOC Global’ products or services. In addition,
“LOC” or LOC Global’ product and service names may not be used
in a LOC Certified Manager’s company’s product or service
name.

LOC Certified
Managers may not imitate LOC Global’ product packaging or
the Logos in any of their materials.

The LOC Certified
Manager Logo signifies certification of an individual. LOC Certified
Managers
must use current certification and not continue to use the logo
if the certification has been revoked or has expired.

LOC Global reserves
the right to change the logos and will supply the LOC Certified
Manager with the new logos and updated guidelines. The LOC
Certified Manager shall adopt the new logos and cease using
the old logos on all materials after a designated transition
period.
Quality Control
LOC Global reserves the
right to review use of the LOC Certified Manager Logos. LOC
Global reserves the right to conduct spot checks on business cards
that contain the logo. LOC Global also may periodically send out
requests for samples. Refusal to submit samples, noncompliance
with the LOC Certified Manager Agreement, or noncompliance
with these guidelines may result in revocation of the logo
license, the logo, and the revocation of certification by LOC
Global.
The LOC Certified
Manager must correct any deficiencies in the use of the logo
and in the quality of the product used in conjunction with the
logo upon reasonable notice from LOC Global. Refusal to correct
such deficiencies may result in revocation of the logo license,
the logo, and the revocation of certification by LOC Global.
