A LOC Certified Consultant™
is recognized as having successfully demonstrated an understanding of
fundamental LOC Global processes.
To obtain the LOC Certified Consultant
™
(LCC) status, candidates are required to successfully complete the
study guide and training, and pass a computer-based exam that
assesses knowledge of LOC Global processes. This certification
remains current for five years. A
career certification has additional requirements.
Delivering the Goods: The Art of Managing Your Supply Chain provides case studies and histories of successful logistical operations
throughout history, and it also offers practical guidance on applying proven
logistical principles to any business.
The Delivering the Goods 3-day
Workshop™
provides a structured learning
environment for understanding the major models and ideas
associated with Delivering the Goods. The workshop is
designed to expose a consultant to the key concepts via lecture and
discussion.
The Candidate Agreement is a legal agreement
signed by the certified consultant. The agreement covers eligibility,
certification requirements and the terms and conditions of LOC
certification.
The Logo Guidelines outline important information
regarding the usage and placement of the LOC Certified logo on
the certified consultant's business card.
The LCC exam is multiple-choice
and includes 75 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The
passing score is 70%.

Benefits
Industry-wide credibility and
recognition. Participants benefit from being associated with
LOC Global.
LOC Global's endorsement. LOC
Global strongly recommends that customers mandate LOC
Certification as a requirement of their consultants.
LOC Certified Logo and official
certificate. A LOC Certified Consultant™ receives the LOC
Certified logo for his or her business card, and a
certificate signifying successful completion of the
program.
Career advancement and professional
development. The LOC Certified Consultant program arms
participants with the skills that lead to professional and
organizational success, including higher productivity and cost efficiency.
Policies
Requirements Policy. The LOC Certified Consultant™ program
requirements are subject to
change at LOC Global’s discretion.
Retake Policy. If a candidate does not pass an exam
the first time, s/he must wait 7 calendar days before retaking
it. If the candidate does not achieve a passing score a second
time, s/he must wait 14 calendar days to retake the exam a third
time. A 14-calendar day waiting period will be imposed for all
subsequent exam retakes. Beta exams can be taken only once.
There is a 50% discount on second attempts. In order to receive
the 50% discount on the 2nd attempt, candidate must enter "2nd
attempt discount" under Promotion Code. Subsequent attempts will
not be discounted.
Re-certification and Duration Policy. Certification
remains current for five years. For every new certification, a
new set of certification exams are released.
A
career certification has additional requirements.
Certification Retention
Policy. Individual candidates are certified when the
prerequisite requirements are met. The certification is valid
and associated with an individual and not a specific company.
This certification is valid as long as it is current.
