A LOC Career Certified Consultant™is a LOC Certified Consultant™recognized as having undergone
rigorous logistics training.
To
obtain the LOC Career Certified Consultant™ status, candidates are
required to successfully complete at least six months of project
experience,
and receive a strong written
performance endorsement,
This certification remains current indefinitely.
Complete at least six months of
project experience with a LOC customer, which includes time as a
lead consultant. Obtain a recommendation
from the LOC customer project manager or sponsor.
Submit a completed LOC Career
Certified Consultant™
Application, Include a detailed account of the consultant's
contributions to a successful project, and contact information
for a superior that can verify the consultant's contributions.
In order to prepare the customer
for the recommendation request, we suggest that the project
manager direct the customer to the
Customer
Recommendation Form at his or her earliest convenience. This
letter describes the LOC Career Certified Consultant™
program and requests the cooperation of our mutual customer in the
success of this program.
LOC Global
conducts a quarterly (16 week) internship program for individuals seeking
project experience. The program is designed to mentor individuals through teams
of transportation, procurement, operations and regional experts. Individuals accepted into the program may choose one of two paths:
Join a near-term problem
solving team to address immediate logistics concerns, for a specific region.
Join a
long-term planning team that collects and analyzes operations-related
information, and constructs plans to address the contingencies presented to
them.
